Students will learn about the diverse hospitality industry through program-specific courses like Principles of Hospitality and Hotel/Resort Management, Study of Tourism Destinations, Consumer Behavior, Basic Food Preparation and more. Those in the HTM program also have the option to choose from one of 4 culinary specialty classes.

A regional-based 120 hour internship in the hospitality, tourism or service industry is also a key component of this degree and allows students to gain practical experience from a vast number of possible partner organizations.
