About Siena College

Siena College is a private, Catholic, liberal arts college located in Loudonville, New York—10 minutes from the state capital of Albany in the heart of the New York’s Capital region.

With 32 majors, 80-plus minors and certificates, and prestigious joint-degree programs in liberal arts, science and business, Saints have over 1,200 unique ways to reach their personal and professional goals. But that’s just the beginning.

Our 3,000 Saints come from all over the world and leave not only with with a deeper understanding of it, but the tools needed to take an active and meaningful part in it. They quickly realize a Siena education isn’t something you get, it’s something you do.

As a liberal arts college

From the North
From the Northway (I-87), take Exit 5 (NY 155). Turn left on NY 155 to US 9. Turn right onto Route 9 for two miles. Siena is on the left.

From the South
Travel north on the New York State Thruway (I-87) to Exit 23 (I-787). Follow I-787 North to I-90 West. Take Exit 6 (US 9 North to Loudonville, first exit off I-90). Follow Route 9 North approximately two miles. Siena is on the right.

From the East
From the Massachusetts Turnpike, take the New York State Thruway to Exit B-1 (I-90 West). Follow I-90 to Exit 6 (US 9 North to Loudonville). Follow US 9 North approximately two miles. Siena is on the right.

From the West
From the New York Thruway, take Exit 24 (Northway I-87). Follow Northway North to Exit 5 (NY 155). Turn left on US 155 to US 9. Turn right on US 9 for two miles. Siena is on the left.
