With sunny Florida skies, palm trees and plenty of green space across our 186 acres, life on the Saint Leo University campus is pure bliss.
Today, Saint Leo educates traditional-age college students at University Campus, just north of Tampa, FL; adult learners at education centers located in seven states; and students all over the world via our Center for Online Learning. In total, we serve nearly 16,000 students—many of them active-duty military or veterans—making Saint Leo the third-largest Catholic college in the United States. Although we are global, we remain one university focused on our student-centered mission and boast classes that average only 15 students in a classroom.
As one of the top universities in Tampa, Saint Leo stands at a crossroads.
Less than an hour from the vibrancy of downtown Tampa, our peaceful campus is surrounded by rolling green hills, dazzling orange groves, clear-water lakes and all the entertainment, shopping and dining you'd expect from the state of Florida, one of the world's most popular vacation destinations.
All full-time University Campus students are required to live on campus (exceptions are allowed for those students living and commuting from home, married students, veterans, non-traditional students, or senior students who have earned over 90 credit hours. The University does not inspect, endorse or recommend any off-campus properties or external housing). We think you will agree that the Saint Leo campus truly feels like a home and the friendships made in the residence halls at Saint Leo University will last a lifetim
