Rockford University offers a variety of services for our campus community. Whether you are looking for a delicious meal, Rockford University branded gear, tickets to the next Forum or theater event, or to rent a space on campus, our campus services offer the assistance you need.
In addition, Lang Center provides a safe and supportive environment to meet the physical, mental, emotional and spiritual needs of the Rockford University community. Differences in ability are valued as an integral component of a diverse community. Disability Support Services (DSS) facilitates an accessible educational experience for students who have disabilities and serves as a resource to all members of the campus community.

Accommodation
Cummings Complex
This three-story complex encompasses four buildings suitable for undergraduate students. The four halls are connected but maintain their individual community environment. In the center of Cummings Complex is an upper and lower lounge that proves to be a great space for people to get together with amenities that include: 2 fireplaces, pool table, 2 flat screen televisions, ping pong, shuffle board, and comfortable furniture.

Small Houses
The small houses consist of 6 undergraduate halls, all of which are self-contained halls that are co-ed by floor. The small houses’ atmosphere is more homey with each hall having its own common area lounge that is unique and includes a kitchenette.

Themed Communities
Theme housing options are designed to enhance your residential experience by supporting your academic interests or lifestyle preferences. Themed communities allow students with common interests and pursuits to live together and support each other through planned activities and informal interactions.

Residence Hall Schedule
We invite you to check out our Residence Hall Schedule for the current academic year. All dates are subject to change. It is the responsibility of the resident to follow the instructions provided to them by their resident assistant or other members of the residence life staff. Publicity will be posted and emails will be sent to students in the residence halls with all relevant information. Residential students are welcome to stay in the halls over fall break. Prior registration for Thanksgiving, winter and spring breaks are required in order to stay in the halls. Registration forms will be made available at least 2 weeks prior the start of the break. The residence halls will close for winter and summer breaks. Accommodations will be made for winter sport athletes and international students.
Note: Meal Plans are not active during breaks and/or holiday periods when residence halls are closed. During breaks, holidays, or unplanned school closings (snow days/inclement weather) when residence halls remain open, Campus Dining Service will provide two meals each day – Brunch and Supper (Weekend Schedule).
