About Presbyterian College
Presbyterian College is a four-year, coeducational, private liberal arts college located in Clinton, South Carolina. It was established in 1880 and is affiliated with the Presbyterian Church. Currently, it has 1,203 undergraduate students. Legend has it that, while the college was originally being built, the owner of the house across the street asked founder William Plumer if it was possible to not block his view. Some say this request is the reason you can open the front and back doors of Neville Hall and have a clear view to the front porch of the old house. Presbyterian College competes in Division I-AA sports and the school mascot is the Blue Hose.
