Located in Claremont, California, Pitzer College is a private residential liberal arts college. Situated on approximately 35 acres, Pitzer College enjoys an excellent climate year round. Founded in 1963, Pitzer is ranked 42nd best national liberal arts college overall.

Pitzer offers over 40 majors, along with many cross-disciplinary courses to all students upon arrival at the campus.  The student/faculty ratio is 11:1, while 100% of Pitzer's tenure-track faculties hold a PhD or an equivalent in their specific field. Over 70% of Pitzer students gain the opportunity to study abroad, compared to the 2% rate nationwide.

The Pitzer College community is renowned for its involvement outside of the classroom. Students donate over 100,000 hours to community service annually, being specially involved with extracurricular activities. With over 150 student clubs and organizations available to join within the Claremont College consortium, students get the rare opportunity to pursue their interests outside the classroom.

  • Residence Halls –With over five different residence halls to choose from, students have the privilege to choose the most suitable and preferred accommodation amongst the halls listed. Accommodation is available along with basic amenities such as a laundry room, balcony, common rooms, and study rooms amongst its great facilities.
  • Athletics –  Pitzer College is home to the Sagehen team. The Sagehen team includes soccer, basketball, football, baseball, track & field, golf, tennis, water polo, swimming and diving. Pitzer students also participate in the Claremont Colleges club sports programs that compete nationally.
  • Student Clubs and Organizations – With over 150 student clubs and organizations to join in, students have the opportunity to pursue their interests with any of these active clubs. These organizations are bound to bring out the best in all alike, assisting them in strengthening their talents.
  •  Career Services – Career services located at Mead hall is a centre for all career needs to students and alumni alike. This centre offers career counseling workshops, resources, seminars, job internship search amongst its other great services.
  • Pitzer Outdoor Adventures (POA) –POA supports a great number of outdoor activities such as trips to the desert and local mountains for hiking and climbing. Groups and individuals are free to seek their services in organizing such events in and around campus.
