About Muhlenberg College
Located in the beautiful Lehigh Valley of eastern Pennsylvania, Muhlenberg College is a highly selective, private, liberal arts college. Established in 1848, Muhlenberg College was ranked the college #81 among liberal arts colleges in the 2011 rankings, by U.S. News & World Report. Muhlenberg's impressive 81-acre (33 ha) campus, is home to beautifully architecture buildings with distinctive red doors in traditional European/Protestant style.
The student populace at Muhlenberg College is a staggering 2,225. The College offers 40 majors in the humanities, fine arts, social sciences and natural sciences, in addition to strong pre-professional programs. Muhlenberg has a 171 full-time and 123 part-time strong staff, providing a great academic environment for the student community. Muhlenberg is primarily a regional college, with 77% of freshmen hailing from New Jersey, Pennsylvania or New York.
