About Miles College

Established in 1898, Miles College is a liberal arts college affiliated with the Christian Methodist Episcopal Church. Miles College is also in the tradition of the Historically Black College, it motivates and directs its students to seek holistic development that leads to intellectual, ethical, spiritual and service-oriented lives.  

Miles College is a science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) higher learning institution.

The education of Miles College involves students in rigorous study of the liberal arts as preparation for work and life-long learning, in the acquisition of verbal, technological and cultural literacy, and in critical community participation.

Miles College is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges to award baccalaureate degrees.
