The campus is based on a 200-acre farm in the heart of the historic Kentucky Bluegrass region. It has 170 acres of pasture land, 3 riding arenas, and 40 stalls. Other facilities include Learning Resource Center, auditorium, residence halls, and laboratories for anatomy, biology, microbiology/immunology, physical/environmental science, botany, chemistry, and physics.
Bluegrass is the town of many beautiful horse farms. The campus is only 10 minutes from Lexington, Georgetown, Frankfort, and Versailles.
Belle Wisdom Hall
Belle Wisdom Hall is a suite-style hall where two residential rooms are connected by one bathroom (some rooms have private bathrooms). There are two lobbies in this residence hall. The second floor lobby is the television lounge with comfortable couches and chairs with additional tables and chairs at the back of the room for studying, and a pool table. The first floor lobby provides more space for studying or eating as it is connected to the kitchen. The kitchen space includes both a range top/oven and a microwave. The building has three floors and does not have an elevator. Air conditioners are provided in each room. The laundry room with free facilities is on the first floor of the residence hall across from the first floor lobby. A limited number of private rooms are assigned on priority basis and may be transformed into double rooms based on occupancy.
Buster Hall
Buster Hall is a community-style hall with shared bathrooms. Showers, toilets, and laundry machines share a space in the middle of each residence hall floor. Buster Hall has one main lobby for television watching, group activities, and studying. Comfortable couches, chairs, and tables are placed throughout the lobby. Microwaves and a toaster oven are provided for student use. The lobby can be entered through the front doors of the building or by entering the back entrance and walking down the stairs and through the ground floor. Buster Hall has four floors and has an elevator. Heat and air conditioning are controlled by the residents in each individual room.
