About Michigan Technological University
Established in 1885, Michigan Technological University is located in Houghton, Mich. Michigan Tech students create the future in more than 120 degree programs in arts, humanities, and social sciences; business and economics; computing; engineering; forestry and environmental science; natural and physical sciences; and technology.
Michigan Technological University is composed of College of Engineering, College of Sciences and Arts, School of Business and Economics, School of Forest Resources and Environmental and Science School of Technology.
For fall 2012, there are about 7,000 students from across the nation and around the world enrolling in the undergraduate and graduate programs of this university. Among of the students, 14.7% are international students.
