About Lynn University
Lynn University is a four-year, coeducational, private research university located in Boca Raton, Florida. It was founded in 1962, and one-quarter of its student body is made up of international students, including students with dual citizenship/residency.
The university has been consistently ranked in the top 5 among Carnegie top 20 master's institutions in the number of students taking part in study abroad programs (Institute of International Education). The highest percentage of international students among master's degree-granting institutions in the South (U.S. News & World Report's 2011 "America's Best Colleges" issue) for five consecutive year
Currently, Lynn has 1,619 undergraduate students and an additional 483 graduate students. The university competes in the NCAA Division II and the school mascot is the BIG LU. The school’s president is Kevin M. Ross.
