About this course

Degree candidates interested in enhancing their career opportunities with the JD Certificate in International Human Rights Law must complete a minimum of 16 credits, including 8 required credits, and must graduate with a cumulative overall GPA of 3.0 and a GPA of 3.25 in international human rights law coursework. In addition, as part of the independent research requirement, candidates must complete a substantial research paper on a topic related to international human rights. This paper may build upon a paper completed in another course, so long as the paper is disclosed in advance and approved by the associate dean for academic affairs.
