About Indiana University of Pennsylvania
Indiana University of Pennsylvania (IUP) was founded as Indiana Normal School in 1875. IUP is a public university in the Pennsylvania State System of Higher Education (PaSSHE) and is the commonwealth's fifth largest university.
IUP is also accredited by Middles States Association of Colleges and Universities. It has branch campuses at Punxsutawney, Northpointe and Monroeville.
The university was included according to the 2013 list of "Best Northeastern" schools by The Princeton Review. Also, IUP's Eberly College of Business was included in the list of "Best Business Schools" in the northeast.
