About Hiram College
Hiram College is a coeducational, four-year, private liberal arts college located in Hiram, Ohio, United States. Moreover, the college was founded in 1850. On snowy days, students practice “traying” – using cafeteria trays to slide down the steep hill of the upper campus. Inspired by a French Professor’s love of pastries, students established a student-operated French bakery called the Terrier Bakery on campus. Hiram College competes in the NCAA Division III; its teams are known as the Terriers. Recently, Hiram has 1,334 undergraduate students and it is listed in Loren Pope’s Colleges That Change Lives. The current president is Thomas V. Chema.
