About this course

The Master of Counselling program provides counsellor education for students reflecting ethical and cultural aspects of Canadian life with a focus on province-related needs and trends.

The program promotes the development of a solid knowledge base and strong clinical skills, while fostering personal growth and transformation.  Students are prepared to be ethical, competent, service-oriented mental health practitioners

Entry Requirements

  • A baccalaureate degree from an accredited institution.
  • International students interested in pursuing a graduate degree from Gonzaga should apply directly to the school they are considering. Additional application materials for international students include a financial declaration and supporting financial documents, as well as proof of English proficiency. Many students attend Gonzaga's English as a Second Language program to complete the English requirement, or attain a 550 on the TOEFL exam.
