About this course

Information Literacy Skills: To incorporate information literacy skills that will enable students to locate, evaluate and effectively use information in the student’s program option.

Communication Skills: To communicate effectively, orally and in writing, using BIT media. Critical Analysis and Reasoning Skills: To use technology to analyze BIT case studies. To function effectively and efficiently to run a business either as an individual or as a team member. To distinguish critical from non-critical information in various BIT situations.

Scientific Literacy and Quantitative Reasoning Skills: To use technology and BIT applications to effectively collect data and analyze and display results.

Information Management Skills: To use BIT software for research, communication and practical application.

Entry Requirements

Submit official high school and college transcripts (if applicable). If you hold a GED, please have the issuing state send official GED scores directly to the Office of Admissions at Garrett College. There is no fee to apply for admission to Garrett College. ACT and SAT scores, if available, also should be sent to the College but are not required for admission.
