Whether students choose to participate in an internship, take a part-time job, or attend a concert or visit a museum, our location provides an exciting environment with countless opportunities.
Framingham State University is located just 20 miles west of Boston, offering students all the cultural and career benefits of a world class city.
Admissions informs first-year and transfer students if a student is accepted as a resident or commuter student. If accepted as a resident student information on how to access the online housing application is provided by Admissions. New resident students should monitor their FSU student email for information related to housing assignments.
FSU primarily assigns new students to housing using an Academic Affinity Strategy. First-year students may request preferences for the Freshman Honors Floor (Corinne Hall Towers and only Honors students are eligible), Quiet Floor (Larned Hall), Gender-Inclusive Housing (most halls), full academic year vacation housing (Linsley Hall) or West Hall (with private bathrooms). It is important to note that these floors/areas have limited space and requests for preferences are not guaranteed. First-year students are not able to request specific halls or roommates.
