FIU has two major campuses: Modesto A. Maidique Campus and Biscayne Bay Campus.
Each of these campuses are built and designed for the very purpose of accelerating our student body, cultivating academics through our faculty/staff and furthering the college experience.
FIU has two major campuses: Modesto A. Maidique Campus in West Miami-Dade County, and Biscayne Bay Campus in North Miami Beach.
FIU also has various other locations which include the Engineering Center, near MMC, the FIU at I-75 in Miramar, the business center in Downtown Brickell, the Miami Beach Urban Studios (MBUS) and the Wolfsonian FIU on South Beach.
Ideally located on the Atlantic coast in the global city of Miami, Florida, you will be living and learning with people from all 50 states and 142 countries, most notably Colombia, Venezuela, Jamaica, China, Peru, The Bahamas, and Trinidad & Tobago. Our student population includes about 2,500 international students.
Panther Hall (PH)
Panther Hall is predominately for first-year students. Four students live together in two shared bedrooms. Rent in Panther Hall includes a meal plan with access to the Fresh Food Company. Panther Hall will be closed for Summer 2014 to get refreshed with new hallway carpet, paint, and other added amenities. Panther Hall hosts several of the Living Learning Communities.
Lakeview South Hall
Lakeview South Hall is for first-year students. Students live in shared bedrooms or single bedrooms. Rent in Lakeview South Halls includes a meal plan with access to the Fresh Food Company. Lakeview Hall hosts several of the Living Learning Communities and the First-Year Honors Community.
Lakeview North Hall
Lakeview North Hall is home to predominately second-year students. Students live in shared bedrooms or single bedrooms. Rent in Lakeview North Halls includes a meal plan with access to the Fresh Food Company.
Everglades Hall (EVE)
Everglades Hall is home to students who participate in the Upper-Class Honors Community or Global Living Learning Community. Each unit comes with three single bedrooms and common area which includes a kitchen.
Parkview Hall (PVH)
Parkview Hall is the newest residence hall on campus. Parkview houses mostly upper-class students. Four students live in single bedrooms sharing a common area which has a kitchen and living room.
University Towers (TOW)
University Towers is predominately for upper-class students. The Towers has all single bedrooms which is a popular option with upper-class students.
University Apartments (UA)
University Apartments are courtyard-style, two-story apartment buildings. The apartments are mainly for upper-class students.
