About Everglades University

Everglades University is a small private, non-profit college based in Boca Raton, Florida. It was founded in 1998. It was originally called the American Flyers College when it was first established in 1990. In 1998, it was purchased by Arthur and Belinda Keiser, and changed its name to Everglades College. It became a university in 2003. 

Everglades University's mission is to provide quality education to adult learners of diverse backgrounds in a collaborative environment where each individual has the opportunity to achieve personal growth. To accomplish this mission, the university combines small class sizes and innovative programs with traditional academic values.

The university also supports the academic endeavor through research, scholarly contribution, and service, to deliver graduate and undergraduate programs both on campus and online. The university is regionally accredited by the Commission on Colleges of the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools to award bachelor's and master's degrees.

Campus information

Everglades University has three campuses (Boca Raton, Sarasota, and Orlando) and an online division. Boca Raton Campus is the main campus, the 35000 square feet campus equipped with air-conditioned classrooms and offices, a library, computer labs, and student lounge. 

The main campus is located in Boca Raton, it has beaches along the eastern shore, the Red Reef Park is among the famous, they are close to the campus.
