Here, you will find a tremendous energy among our diverse study body. We have a large military presence, a number of international students, and people like you! This campus buzzes with activity. At any given time, you will see an array of hands-on learning activities going on, student clubs holding events, and community partners working with us to provide the education you deserve.
Our partnerships with employers are what ECPI University is all about. We work with some of the leading companies in the region to help you get a taste of the real world. They provide externships, jobs to graduates, and valuable advice. Many of them sit on our Academic Advisory Boards and help us keep our curriculum up-to-date so you can be job-ready.
Located just off Newtown Road and Interstate 264, ECPI University’s Virginia Beach campus is just a short drive to the oceanfront. It’s positioned in the heart of Coastal Virginia, and easily accessible from neighboring communities in Norfolk, Portsmouth, Suffolk, and Chesapeake.
ECPI University does not provide traditional, on-campus student housing (i.e. campus-operated dormitories). However, the University recognizes that many international students will need assistance in finding appropriate student housing. Some students will prefer to live alone, while others will want to find a roommate to share rental expenses. Additionally, some students will be accompanied by their spouses and children and have unique and extended family housing requirements.
The Student Housing Manager for ECPI University is located in Virginia Beach, VA, and is available to provide individualized assistance to international students in securing off-campus housing in facilities that are cost effective, conveniently located, safe, and most appropriate for ECPI University students. The Student Housing Manager can assist any international student, who has been admitted to attend any one of the four campus locations authorized to enroll non-immigrant alien students (Newport News, Northern Virginia, Raleigh, and Virginia Beach), in securing housing.
