About Criswell College
Dallas, Texas is the ninth largest urban center in the US, covering 343 square miles with a population over 1.2 million. This beautiful southern city also boasts a large international population, providing many opportunities for cross-cultural ministry. Although the city’s size may seem a bit intimidating at first glance, realizing the DFW area is a mix of different cities and suburbs next door to each other makes the task much more manageable. Students find they are soon navigating like locals.
Residents live in local apartment style housing in downtown Dallas. Criswell partners with Dallas Theological Seminary, located just two blocks from the Criswell campus. Apartments are fully furnished with two bedrooms and two bathrooms, where 2-4 residents live together.
Each semester residents participate in community outreaches with local ministries and churches. Past outreaches include partnering with Dallas Life, Kids for Christ, J. W. Ray Elementary School, Lake June Baptist Church, First Baptist Church, and Criswell alumni.
