About this course

Students interested in starting their own business can learn the ins and outs of how to get started in the process and how to follow through to be successful through Craven Community College’s Entrepreneurship program. The Entrepreneurship curriculum is designed to provide students with the knowledge and the skills necessary for employment and growth as self-employed business owners.

The program is designed to develop an individual’s ability to make informed decisions as a future business owner. Courses include entrepreneurial concepts learned in innovation and creativity, business funding, and marketing. Additional coursework includes computers and economics.

Through these skills, students will have a sound education base in entrepreneurship for lifelong learning. Graduates are prepared to be self-employed and open their own businesses.

Entry Requirements

  • Admission to this program requires that students be high school graduates or have a recognized equivalency.
