About this course
The following guidelines assist students in developing programs of study that introduce them to three areas of learning at Central Penn College – the humanities, the social sciences, and math and science. These areas of study provide the foundation for a well-rounded business professional. These requirements apply only to the Associate of Applied Science degree program in Medical Assisting.
the Medical Assisting program requires:
- A GPA of 2.2 or better.
- Applicants with a GED must have a minimum GED score of 43 and will also be required to submit three reference letters.
- Secondary school courses: one unit of biology, and three units of math.
