About this course

The Psychology degree provides the first two years of college for students preparing for a career in psychology, counseling or a related field. The Psychology degree emphasizes the scientific study of behavioral and mental processes in animals and humans. The field of Psychology encompasses many areas including: research methods, social behavior, personality, human development, biological basis of behavior, consciousness, learning, memory, emotion, motivation and mental health and adjustment.
