About Cankdeska Cikana Community College

Cankdeska Cikana Community College (CCCC) is chartered by the Spirit Lake Dakota Nation, with a five member Board of Regents appointed by the Spirit Lake Tribal Council. The Board of Regents is empowered via the Charter, to grant degrees to qualified applicants upon the completion of the Board approved curriculum in compliance with the Higher Learning Commision. The Board of Regents formulates and implements administrative policies and procedures for the operation of the institution.

Campus information

It is a land grant college established by the Spirit Lake Dakota Nation that aims to support North. 
The school maintains a faculty/student ratio (full-time) which is better than most colleges. Cankdeska Cikana Community College had 223 enrolled students in 2007. The school has a large minority student population.
