About this course

The Master of Science degree is available to qualified students who desire advanced preparation in a variety of areas of clinical specialization and executive management.  Our Master’s programs are all approved by the California State Board of Registered Nursing and accredited by the Commission of Collegiate Nursing Education (1 Dupont Circle, NW, Suite 530, Washington, DC, 20036-1120, phone 202-887-6791.

Our philosophy for graduate nursing education is grounded in the reality that healthcare around the globe, our nation’s healthcare system and the practice of nursing are constantly changing and adapting to the needs of highly diverse populations.  “Illness-based” care has been replaced with a new focus on “wellness” and graduate-educated nurses play key clinical and leadership roles in maintaining the wellness of communities and individual patients.

Graduates of our nursing programs have traditionally been in great demand due to the excellence of the education they received and their real-world understanding of healthcare delivery systems.  Their clinical expertise in managing and providing care for patients has been well recognized and our graduates will continue to be the visionaries of the future, guiding innovation and incorporating the best evidence-based practice into direct care delivery and the healthcare systems that enable the provision of care.
