About California State University, Fullerton
Established in 1957, California State University, Fullerton (CSUF) is a four-year, coeducational, public university. Located in Fullerton, California, it combines the best qualities of teaching and research universities through actively engaging students, faculty and staff work in close collaboration to expand knowledge.
In September 2012, U.S. News & World Report ranked CSUF among "Top Public Universities," (No. 5 among "Top Public Regional Universities" in the West and 31st among "Best Regional Universities" in the West.). In the year 2011-2012, the faculty members have received awards of $22.8 million in grants and contracts for research and scholarly performance.
Both of the undergraduate and graduate courses in CSUF offer current practice, theory and research and combine professional studies with training in the arts and sciences. The students can get experiences in and out of the classroom so they have the ability to prepare themselves for the future professions.
