About this course
Calhoun's Nursing program is structured for a seamless transition from Practical Nursing (certificate) to Registered Nursing (AAS). After successful completion of 3 semesters, students are eligible to write the NCLEX-PN licensure exam. Students then have an option to continue for two semesters to complete the AAS degree for eligibility to write the NCLEX-RN exam for licensure as an RN. The program provides the student with knowledge and skills to function as an integral health care provider. Nursing is a dynamic career with multiple opportunities for employment and growth.
