About this course

Human resources professionals are employed in nearly every industry and are vital to the success of businesses and organizations worldwide. Brandman University's Master of Business Administration (MBA) with an emphasis in human resources prepares students to effectively plan, direct, and lead administrative operations that best align with their companies' goals. Through specialty course work students will learn to manage training functions, design effective development programs, apply methods of intervention, and understand the relationship between training and the fields of individual and organizational development. They will focus on pertinent industry topics such as theories of compensation, practices of wage and salary administration, evaluation systems, performance appraisals, incentives and more. Brandman allows students to customize their education pathways by either continuing with an elective within the same field or choosing one class from organizational leadership, public administration, or health administration to broaden their studies.

As part of the MBA program, core curriculum also explores nearly every aspect of business practices including financial reporting, data analytics, marketing management, organizational leadership, and process innovation.
