- A Bachelor’s degree in chemistry, biochemistry or a related field and have completed one year each of college level calculus and physics.
English Language Requirements:
- A score of 79 iBT on the TOEFL
- A score of 6.5 on the academic IELTS
Candidates for the M.S. degree must take a minimum of 31 semester hours in chemistry and related subjects. Of these hours, 8 semester hours must be devoted to original research. A publishable thesis is required for graduation based on this research. Of the remaining courses, up to 6 semester hours may be taken at the graduate level in cognate fields such as engineering, education, mathematics, business, or biology. Individual programs of study are developed in conference between the student, the thesis advisor, and the graduate coordinator.
