About this course
The Medical Assisting program prepares competent entry-level medical assistants for technical, clinical and administrative positions in physicians’ offices, hospitals and clinics. Medical Assistants are involved in both patient care and administrative areas of a medical practice. Graduates from this program are eligible to sit for national certifying exams, provided they meet all eligibility criteria. In addition, this program is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (www.caahep.org) upon the recommendation of the Medical Assisting Education Review Board (MAERB). Our current annual CMA exam pass rate is 91%.
