The main campus of Bay College is located in Escanaba, serving thousands of students from the central Upper Peninsula of Michigan and beyond. Bay extended its college course offerings to Iron Mountain in the mid 1970's. In 2006 with the donation of a 25 acre parcel of land and the support of a millage, Iron Mountain is now home to a 67,000 square foot facility which opened its doors in the fall of 2007. Courses are also offered on-line and in Manistique.
Bay College's main campus moved to its current location in 1968 after its humble beginnings in the old Escanaba High School. The campus currently has 10 buildings, the latest of which was made possible by a generous donation from John and Melissa Besse. The Besse Center is home to a state-of-the-art theater, art galleries and student services.
Around Bay College campuses you will find traditional and non-traditional college students, professional development trainees and community members that are experiencing the Arts & Culture at Bay, attending a conference or participating in a local meeting. The college offers its facilities to groups desiring meeting and/or conference space.
