About this course

The Associate of Science in Engineering – Electrical Engineering Program prepares students to pursue a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering at a four-year university. Students in the Associate of Science in Engineering – Electrical Engineering Program will receive extensive training to build a strong foundation in mathematics, physics, chemistry, and the fundamentals of electrical engineering. Students are required to earn at least a 2.0 grade point average on a 4.0 grade scale in all courses in computer science, engineering, mathematics, and the physical and natural sciences to be eligible to graduate from the Associate of Science in Engineering – Electrical Engineering Program.

The mission of the Electrical Engineering program is to prepare students to pursue a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering at a four-year university in the State of Maryland by providing them with a strong foundation in mathematics, physics, chemistry, and electrical engineering fundamentals.
