Ball State University has some of the best resources and educators who are centered on providing students and the respective faculties with infectious energy and creativity into the learning environment. This public institution that was founded in 1918 and located in Muncie, Indiana, is called as one of the best university in the Midwest as recognised by The Princeton Review.

With an undergraduate enrolment of more than 17,000 strong, this suburban institution provides its students with 180 undergraduate majors which also include an entrepreneurship program. In senior year, entrepreneurship students are required to present their business plan as part of the requirement to pass the New Venture Creation course prior to their graduation.

In the 2018 edition of Best Colleges, Ball State University is ranked 187 with their students making appearances in more than 350 campus organisations, play club, and recreational sports. Outside classrooms activities in this university may be the perfect place for serious athletes who want to join the Ball State Cardinals varsity teams that have been competing in the recent NCAA Division I Mid-American Conference.

A scholarship is even provided by one noteworthy alumni and late-night talk show host David Letterman for media students who have an amazing and creative streak.

Campus information

Ball State University is located at the very center of Muncie, Indiana, spanning 731 acres across and including 109 buildings such as academic, administrative, auxiliary, and residential buildings which are equivalent to a staggering $1 billion. Some 400 acres of additional land is dedicated for research property purposes whereas twelve residence hall complexes and two apartment communities are provided for student accommodation.

During the fall and spring semesters, Ball State University provides students with a free shuttle service throughout campus. Muncie Indiana Transit System (MITS) that runs through campus are also provided to students intending on taking local routes.

35 miles from the main campus, satellite facilities are primarily dedicated to accommodating academic programs, community engagement, and professional development.
