A general education core is required for all Associate and Bachelor degrees. All graduates must meet the general education requirements established by each academic program.
This program prepares students for entry-level positions in the accounting field. The coursework will develop the skills necessary to record, present, and analyze financial data as well as provide learning experiences that will shape the competencies required for successful office management, accounting clerk, staff accountant, and bookkeeper positions. Students wishing to obtain the national certification for bookkeepers may elect this option. Students who desire CPA licensure should elect the BBA-Accounting program.
