About Arkansas State University

Dominating as the second largest college system and second largest university by enrolment in the state alone, Arkansas State University, or A-State is an exceptional public university. Campus information

The 800-acre campus with 145 buildings include facilities such as library, classrooms, conference facilities, residence halls, museum, labs, dining hall and food court, store, student lounge, art gallery, sports and fitness facilities and etc.

Jonesboro is the 5th largest city in Arkansas. Downtown Jonesboro is filled with a variety of restaurants and shops, as well as leisure and recreation opportunities at the city parks, and many of the athletic facilities.

Kays Hall (First Year Residence Hall)

  • Suite-style accommodations
  • Males and female students on different wings

  • Main lobby - large screen television and pool table
  •  5 lounges (complete with microwaves), a central kitchen, and laundry/vending rooms

University Hall (First Year Residence Hall)

  • Accommodates 300 female students
  • Laundry/vending room & central kitchen
  • Each bedroom -  two twin size beds, desks, chairs, and dressers
  • Two Ethernet ports provided

Upper-class Residence Hall

  • Accommodates 836 students
  • Community Building -  laundry, kitchen, meeting rooms, and administrative offices
  • 4 bedroom two bath suites 
    • Twin size bed, night stand, dresser
    • Study desk & chair
    • Wireless internet
    • Fully-furnished living rooms

Collegiate Park (Upper-class Residence Hall)

  • Private bedrooms - full size bed, nightstand, desk, chair, and dresser
  • Two bedroom/two bathroom, two bedroom/one bathroom, and four bedroom/two bathroom flats and townhouses configurations
  • Fully furnished living room
  • Kitchens -  refrigerator and electric stove
  • Central clubhouse - multi-purpose room, laundry, swimming pool, sand volleyball court and a barbecue pavilion

Honors Living-Learning Community (First Year & Upper-class Residence Hall)

  • Home to 323 Honors College students
  • Share rooms
  • Upper-class students - private bedrooms with a full sized bed, dresser, study desk, and chair.
  • Two bedrooms share a bathroom
  • Study lounges available

ROTC (ROTC Living Learning Community)

  •  Houses 50 Reserve Officers’ Training Corp cadets 
  • May select either two bedrooms – one bathroom or four bedrooms – two bathrooms configurations
  • Bedroom - full size bed, a desk, a chair, a night stand, and Ethernet port
  • Smart Board (Multipurpose room)

STEM Den (Upper-class Residence Hall)

  • For students majoring in Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related discipline
  • May select either two bedrooms – one bathroom or four bedrooms – two bathrooms configurations
  • Bedroom - full size bed, a desk, a chair, a night stand, and Ethernet port
  • Smart Board (Multipurpose room)
  • Study lounges

Red Wolf Den (Upper-class Residence Hall)

  • Apartments are fully furnished :
    • Full sized beds, dressers, night stands, couches, coffee tables, refrigerators, electric stoves, garbage disposals, dishwashers, study desks, and chairs 
  • May select: two bedrooms/one bathroom, three bedrooms/one bathroom, and four bedroom/ two bathrooms units 
  • Commons Building - laundry, multi-purpose room, kitchen, and reception desk

The Village

  • For married students with or without children, single parents, graduate students and non-traditional undergraduates who are 26 years of age.
  • One, two, and three-bedroom apartments
    • One bathroom and is furnished with a refrigerator, electric stove, dishwasher, central heat and air unit, and bar
    • Ethernet port 
    • Playground
    • Some have washer/dryer connections, for others, laundry is available.

Greek Village

  • Accommodating a sorority
  • Large chapter room, television lounge, kitchen, and laundry
  • Utilities, cable, as well as hardwired and wireless internet access
