About this course
The Masters in Counseling Psychology degree blends coursework and practicum experience to equip professionals with the knowledge and experience they need to succeed in a variety of mental health settings.
In September 2016, Anna Maria College will begin to offer a two-tier program in its Master of Art in Counseling Psychology program.
- One tier will allow students to complete the traditional 12 course, 36 credits, Master of Arts program.
- The second tier will offer students the additional eight 3-credit courses, including the internships/seminars, in order to meet 60 graduate credit Masters of Arts degree required by the state for licensure as a mental health counselor (LMHC) in Massachusetts.
