This curriculum includes the general education courses and introductory specialty courses that are usually required in the first two years of equivalent baccalaureate programs. When planning a program and selecting electives, the student should become acquainted with the requirements of the major department in the college or university to which he/she expects to transfer. Students planning to begin employment upon completion of their program should give special consideration to their specific area of interest in the field of communications when selecting electives. Students planning on transferring to a four year academic institution should consult with the department chair.
