Whether you are a new graduate or currently working and want to develop a career in HR, you will find this two year programme will give you the perfect opportunity to enhance your career prospects through a professional qualification with the CIPD.
The first stage covers Leadership/Management and People Management/Development field focuses on the essential skills of the HR professional.
The second stage the electives in Human Resource Management examines employment law, employee relations, employee resourcing and reward, learning and development and includes a distinctive residential. You will cover three of the CIPD fields of study: Core Management, People Management and Development, and elective fields. The course offers a fast-track membership upgrade scheme allowing you to bypass the Graduate stage of CIPD membership to becoming a Chartered member.
You should normally have a degree or equivalent, or NVQ or SVQ Level 4 in a related subject plus two years relevant organisational experience. We also accept a CIPD Certificate in Personnel Practice, or Training Practice, or Recruitment and Selection, plus two years relevant experience. Mature students without formal qualifications, but with significant management/HR experience, are welcome to apply.
