About this course
The programme is delivered in partnership with the Dioceses of Winchester and Portsmouth involves substantial elements of practical experiential learning and assessed vocational placement.
This training combines appropriate theological education with academic rigour to equip those who aim to preach and teach with the skills to do so. It also includes modules which are based upon the ministry experience of students who are already engaged in the practice of ministry in their church community.
Study encompasses a wide-ranging exploration of theological themes and contemporary moral and ethical issues, in the context of the life and mission of the church today. The programme leads to licensing for the Ministry of Reader within the Church of England.
Entry requirements: Based on Diocesan selection criteria
If English is not your first language: IELTS 6.0 (including 6.0 in writing) or a TOEFL score of 550 (paper-based) or 213 (computer-based) or equivalent
