About this course

This is a part-time course for the graduate health and social care practitioner wanting to obtain a level 6 academic and professional qualification in the burn and reconstructive surgery speciality pathway. 

You should have a minimum of one year's post-registration experience and be in practice for at least 20 hours per week before applying for the course.

This is a diverse and complex speciality that extends into community as well as acute care. This is reflected within the pathway with the emphasis on treatment, recovery and rehabilitation.

Entry Requirements

  • First degree equivalent to 300 credits, 60 of which should have been studied at level 6.
