About this course

Having worked your way up the levels required by the motor industry, you will specialise in more complex diagnostics and fault finding. Using a range of specialist equipment, you will focus on complex engine diagnostics, transmission systems and auxiliary electric systems including body control, airbags, heating and ventilation and networks and vehicle systems, before joining the motor trade. 

Entry Requirements

  • You must have completed the Vehicle Maintenance and Repair IMI Level 2 Diploma. In addition you will need a minimum of GCSE grade C in English and/or maths or L2 Functional Skills.
