About Liverpool John Moores University

Since 1823, Liverpool John Moores University (LJMU) has made drastic progress in the quality of its education and is known as a British institution that is highly focused on creating potential graduates who are well-prepared in their respective fields. LJMU has over 180 years of rich history and experience in providing an exceptional education to its students and this is made possible through its dedicated staff and academician of 1,095.

As of present, there is a bustling student community at LJMU that makes up for 25,000 students and from different nationalities world-wide. To support this huge number as well as the operation and 250 degree courses offered throughout the institution all year round, 2,500 staff are employed. With this number, LJMU is the most dominant university in the city of Liverpool when considering its student population and this comes to a no surprise as there are many degree courses available, including joint honors degrees and conventional degrees.
