About this course
The Foundation Degree in Sport and Exercise Science (FdSc) course is two years in length. Each module of the FdSc has been designed to enable students to learn, and demonstrate specific knowledge and skills from both a vocational and academic perspective. Additionally students who successfully complete the course are able to progress to one further year of study and achieve a DMU BSc (Hons) in Sport and Exercise Science (subject to validation).
48 UCAS Points to include: GCSE English ‘C’ or equivalent; GCSE Maths Grade ‘C’ or equivalent; A relevant Access to HE course, BTEC 90 Credit Sub Diploma, or equivalent in a sport related qualification and at least one A2 level in a related subject. Overseas learners can send evidence of qualifications (IELTS 6), work experience, and portfolio electronically (or by post) to the Programme Leader.
Following receipt of this work an interview by phone will be conducted. We welcome applications from learners 21+ who do not match the standard entry requirements but who can demonstrate experience and a commitment to studying this subject at university level.
