About this course
This course is designed to meet the growing demand for computing professionals capable of specifying, installing and maintaining computer systems.
You will develop a basic capability in system design and development, including databases and websites. The course covers a number of programming languages, as well as higher levels of capability in network technology and management. Fundamental to this course is the understanding of computer systems and the broader computing field.
This course is suitable for anyone looking for a career in network engineering, internet software development, IT help desk and IT management roles.
- A minimum of 180 UCAS tariff points and GCSE maths and English at minimum grade C or equivalent.
- Applications are welcome if you do not meet the standard entry requirements but have experience within the IT industry or can demonstrate your ability to study at higher education level.
