About this course

In Year One the main focus will be developing students' knowledge and understanding of fashion and textiles design with emphasis on demonstrating their ability to work independently, improving their drawing and constructive skills. Furthermore, digital workshops will allow students to become familiar with the use of Photoshop and Illustrator allowing them to scan and manipulate their fashion and textile designs. Basic pattern cutting skills will be addressed in order for students to become familiar with garment construction techniques.

In Year Two the main focus will be further developing students' knowledge and understanding of combining traditional techniques with contemporary processes.
