About this course
A variety of key modules will develop your knowledge and practical sports therapy skills. As a student you will study 16 modules over 2 years (8 each year) with the aim of the course to provide vocationally relevant knowledge combined with practical experience with local sports teams and athletes. The course will also provide students with the opportunity to gain recognised industry specific qualifications such as First Aid for Rugby, Active IQ sports massage and Fitness Instructor at level 2 as well as experience with partners such as Coventry Rugby Club.
- 100 UCAS points from one of the following courses;
- A minimum of a D grade from 1 GCE/VCE Biology, Human Biology, Sport Science or PE plus additional qualifications to make up 100 UCAS points
- An overall distinction in an appropriate 6 unit VCE which should include a biological component.
- A merit/pass profile from a 12 unit BTEC National Diploma (Usually science/ sport science). Applications should be made through the University and Colleges Admission Service (UCAS) for Henley College Coventry.
