About this course

If you have been thinking about a career in to the hospitality industry, this could be the course for you. Many students have used this route to become a Chef working in a professional kitchen.

Students will learn the principles of professional cookery in the brand new professional cooking theatre at our Plumstead Campus. You will begin to learn how to produce restaurant quality food using a variety of cooking methods, techniques and ingredients.

Entry Requirements

  • Strong motivation and a commitment to your learning and attendance.
  • Three GCSE passes at grade D-G or above.
  • You may be asked to sit assessment tests in Numeracy and Literacy.
  • You should be able to demonstrate a keen interest in Cookery.
