Tycoch is a bustling and vibrant base for students on a wide variety of vocational, access and apprenticeship courses. Many of our well-established vocational areas, such as health and social care, hospitality and catering, travel and tourism, business, science, sport, motor vehicle and engineering are available here. Specialist facilities include The Vanilla Pod training restaurant and students can also access the modern Sports Centre, which has a fully equipped conditioning studio, a multi-purpose sports hall, squash courts and a sports injury clinic.
With its unique blend of city, coast and countryside, it’s no wonder that thousands of international students choose to study in Swansea every year. Swansea is a modern, thriving, waterfront city just a stone’s throw away from the Gower Peninsula, an area of outstanding natural beauty with 32 miles of coastline, award winning golden beaches and lush, rolling countryside. The city is thriving culturally with its museums, galleries and theatres while its sporting prowess shines with Premier League club Swansea City FC, the Ospreys rugby team and excellent sporting facilities including the Wales National Pool and Liberty Stadium
You can also stay in private accommodation at the new St. Davids student accommodation facility in Swansea city centre. If you’re under 18, you’ll need written approval from your parent/guardian to stay in this accommodation
