Davies Laing and Dick College (DLD) is an independent sixth form college situated on two campuses in the heart of London; Marylebone Campus and Belgravia Campus.

DLD College aims to maintain a 'gold standard' of educational quality. The classes are small, to enable students and teachers to focus upon the most effective ways of learning.

It has excellent facilities:

  • 80-seat theater also used as a television studio, cinema and concert hall
  • A recording studio with the latest music technology equipment.
  • Three art studios: fine art, 3D, textiles.
  • Separate laboratories for Biology, Chemistry and Physics equipped with interactive white boards
  • DLD Online: online course notes, past papers, homework assignments, revision programmes
  • Two ICT teaching rooms equipped with 24 PCs and interactive white boards
  • A library with an adjacent IT Study with 16 PCs exclusively for student use
  • A Media and Film classroom with large screen and surround sound
  • An edit suite equipped with Apple Mac G5s equipped with I Movie, Final Cut Pro, Quark Express, and Photoshop

Abbey College provide international students with advice and guidance on finding the right accommodation. The type of accommodation available to a student are depending on their age.

  • Students under 16 years of age must be living with an adult who can provide care and accommodation for that student throughout their time in London.Students under 16 are able to book a place with a Host who will provide accommodation and care for the student.
  • Students over 18 years are free to live independently although the College will need Parental Permission for this. We recommend that all students over 18 have a UK based guardian or emergency contact that can assist them with travel, living, and College arrangements.
